World Peace Reiki: A New Frequency for a Peaceful New Earth

There are moments in our healing journey that shift the entire landscape of how we understand energy, presence, and peace. World Peace Reiki is one of those moments, a potent turning point in the evolution of Reiki, and in the collective evolution of humanity.

As a Reiki Master practitioner and teacher, I’ve felt the deepening of Reiki’s capacity over time and how it expands to meet our individual and planetary needs. And this newest expression, known as World Peace Reiki, is nothing short of extraordinary. Not just because it brings more calm. But because it brings a new level of conscious co-creation, one that is as much about inner anchoring as it is about outward transformation.

The Energy That Evolved Itself

Back in the early 1980s, when William Lee Rand received his first Reiki attunement, he heard a message during a walk through the Hawaiian forest: “This energy can be developed.” At the time, that wasn’t how Reiki was commonly understood. Most believed that Reiki energy came in set forms — Level I, Level II, and Master.

But Reiki, as we’ve all now experienced, is alive. Conscious. Responsive. And very much here to serve our highest good in real time.

Over the years, Reiki has continued to evolve through those who listen deeply. And in 2022, it revealed a profound new expression: World Peace Reiki, a frequency specifically attuned to the global challenges of our times, designed to help us maintain peace internally, even when the outer world is anything but peaceful.

What Is World Peace Reiki?

World Peace Reiki is a higher-dimensional expression of Holy Fire® III Reiki energy. It was revealed as part of an ongoing energetic upgrade to support healers and humanity alike through times of chaos, upheaval, and collective anxiety.

The Reiki consciousness, working through what we call the Authentic Self, recognized that our world was reaching a point where personal healing alone wasn’t enough — we needed an energy that could also radiate peace outward. One that was strong enough to meet global uncertainty… gentle enough to soothe the most fragile nervous systems… and wise enough to respect free will and individual timing.

And so, World Peace Reiki was born.

It supports peace not just as a fleeting feeling — but as an anchored, sustainable vibration within the body and spirit. It helps bridge your divine consciousness with your human self. It connects you to the soul of the Earth in a deeper way. And it carries within it the seeds of An-shin Ritsu-mei, the enlightened state Usui Sensei is said to have received atop Mount Kurama.

How This Energy Was Received

This new Reiki energy made its presence known to William Lee Rand on March 4, 2022, during a session with fellow Reiki Master Colleen Benelli. What he first perceived as an “Oasis of Calm and Peace” quickly revealed itself as something much bigger. Within days, as he taught Reiki I, II, Master, and Karuna® classes in succession, the energy grew stronger, fully anchoring during the Karuna class.

Today, this energy is offered to students through a powerful guided experience called Empowered by the River of Peace — part of the Holy Fire® III Reiki Master training process. The final ignition, known as the World Peace Ignition, activates this healing potential.

This frequency is not just for “advanced” practitioners. It is for anyone ready to become a vessel of peace in a time when peace is most needed.

The Peace Grid: Reiki’s Global Network

Did you know that there are physical World Peace Reiki Grids placed across the planet? These sacred grids, located in Hana, Hawaii, Southfield, Michigan, Jerusalem, Kurama Yama (Japan), and at the North and South Poles are designed to continuously radiate this energy across the globe.

Each grid contains a crystal and a copy of the World Peace Meditation, and they are linked energetically to every practitioner who works with this frequency. Every time you offer Reiki with the intention of peace for yourself, others, or the planet, you activate this sacred network.

It’s not just symbolic. It’s energetic infrastructure… like a grid of light that grows brighter each time someone adds their light to the collective’s.
